Rugby Task

Recently we had to create a school rugby T-shirt. We were allowed to do it on our Chromebooks or paper. I did mine on my Chromebook it’s not the school colours but I think it would make them more energized and the other teams scared with the colours I’ve used. Something I liked about this was it was fun to design something which we don’t get to normally do. Something I didn’t like was it having to be a rugby shirt and no other sports. Overall I really like this task. Here is my shirt.

Blog Post Challenge 1!

Last week we had to write about our holidays. I wrote about how me and my Mum went on a trip to Blenheim. What I found hard was decorating it and making it look appealing because it is very hard to do with a long piece of writing. What I found easier was writing it because it just came so easily and I love writing so it was also very fun and gave me a lot of joy. What I would like to work on next time is making my writing more detailed and interesting. I loved doing this task because as I have already told you I love writing so here is my work.

Kensuke’s Kingdom! Reading Task!

Last week we had to put on our blogs two of our Kensuke’s Kingdom reading tasks. Kensuke’s Kingdom is by Michael Morpurgo. One of my tasks was doing a book trailer with some kind help from Chantelle who was Michael’s Mum and also played a second role in our trailer as Kensuke. I also had Tharika in the Book Trailer she was the camera person, director and narrtor. I was the script writer and editor and I also played a role in the trailer as Michael. What I found easy was when we were filming it and what I found hard was the time we had to do it and editing it. We had filmed it the day before it needed to be due the next day so after a lot of hard work editing after and before school the next day it finally got finished. What I would like to work on for next time is getting the filming done quicker by not laughing and have to retake that scene as much. Here is my work!

Kensuke’s Kingdom – Create Reading Task!

Last week we had to create a TV interview in groups about interviewing a character from Kensuke’s Kingdom by Michael Morpurgo. I did it with Tharika who was the host and I was the special guest star – Mum from Kensuke’s Kingdom. What I found easy about this task was getting the filming done and what was harder was getting it onto the slide. What I would like to work on for next time is tryin to get it on the slide quicker and easier. Here is mine and Tharika’s work!

My Kensuke’s Kingdom Map!

We had to make a Google My Map of where Michael went on his journey in Kensuke’s Kingdom by Michael Morpurgo. What I found hard was trying to find what country everything was in and interesting facts for the places. What I found easier was finding the places and sharing my map because it was nice and easy and accesable to share and easy to search up the places. Here is my work. I loved making this map because it gave me a chance to learn more about other countries.  A next step learning fo rme would be to add more interesting facts into each place.

Grey Main School : Book Day!

Today we had our school book day! I dressed up as Pippi Longstocking. Pippi Longstocking is a fictional character who has no parents but a horse and a monkey called Mr.Nelson she is very kind and wears…. a navy blue dress with red patches from a different peice of clothing sowed on to it. She has bright ginger hair and has odd pairs of stockings on and if she is not seen with her stockings on she is probably in bear feet. She wears worn out shoes and walks backwards. Her hair is always in two plaits, which are standing up on end. Today there were some Harry Potter’s, Hermione Granger’s, 2 Pippi Longstocking’s and lots of other amazing characters and costumes! Here is a picture of the book and a picture of me at school all dressed up!

Hi this is the link to me doing my trick shot challenge. I chose to do the one with the paper towel roll. I didn’t have anything to put it on so I chose to use a stick some stones and a bucket. At first I missed it by a long way but by practicing and practicing and even changing the agles and lengths of everything I finally got it in! I was so proud of myself because I never knew I could even do that but with some work I did it! So what I learn’t was if I comit or put my mind to do something I can do it and persevere!!!!! Then at the end of it be PROUD!!!!
